We believe that it’s a common-sense approach to require pornographic websites to verify the age of visitors before allowing access. Today, the average age of first exposure to porn in the U.S. is between 9 and 11 years old, and Congress has not passed a societal solution to this crisis since 1998. It’s time that Congress passes a new law protecting children from online pornography. By signing the petition below, you are stating:
1. It is a common-sense approach to require online pornographic websites to verify age.
2. I urge Congress to pass new law requiring online pornography websites to verify the age of visitors before making pornographic images available for view.
